Ps4 Download In Rest Mode Faster

Downloads seem to go slower unless in rest mode or if you have everything closed and just the download status open. when i started to download first light it said 4 hours, i just clicked on the download to show the download status bar and it jumped up to 47 minutes.. Does rest mode speed up download speeds? every time i put my ps4 in rest mode it seems like the downloads go faster. who knows though it could just all be in my head. 30min; put into rest mode... check after 20min, download complete... did this once haha idk how this works, but its faster for me too
